Hey there! I am darci-que,author /illustrator and self publisher of my series of Mollie Doodle books. The stories are based on my real life dog Mollie Doodle, who turned 14 this year! I originally started with the idea of them being about our local community(Creemore Ontario) but i faced criticism that the story lines were too personal.I then shifted gears and wrote about things in our world that were important to childrens' growth...sharing ,not winning , a native community and their lives,please and thank yous' ,birthdays ,bullying and of course meeting Santa! I have illustrated for other authors as well .I love a good story !
